Managed grazing works especially well for grass fed and pastured livestock. In managed grazing livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats and bison move through paddocks of native grasses, crop residue and specially grown grazing forages. This allows animals to select food as they might in the wild by choosing the most nutritious and tender parts of the plant often richer in color, texture and flavor. This is healthier for the animals and ultimately healthier for you. Grass fed meat is leaner and contains higher levels of the important Omega-3 fatty acids.
